I’ve spent the last 15 years getting really good at creating cohesion across visual branding systems. Website, print, social media, and beyond.
We sit down at the beginning of each intake quarter and go over your goals, strategically work through some creative solutions, create a running wish-list, and nail down any hard deadlines for product launches/offers/etc.

The ‘In-House’ Creative Director Effect
You have a small team with 1 or 2 all-rounders. They are able to dabble in content creation, admin, etc., but would really benefit from some heavy-duty design support for larger projects or campaigns. We all come together and brainstorm ideas for the project or campaign
I take the brainstorm away and develop some creative concepts
Once the direction is approved, I handle the heavy lifting on the creative direction and design front

Because I know your business and brand, I can then get to work rolling out all of those little tweaks you need but can’t find time for and that seem ridiculous to ask someone to quote.

I have structured this offer to be based on availability and not deliverables. What this means is that I allocate blocks of time each week over the quarter specifically for Brand Lab clients. I know my stuff and am pretty quick with it, so I am happy to do as much as I can during that allocated time. Because the Brand Lab is only available to branding clients, we already have a trong working relationship. In our initial discovery call, we will chat about the things you’d like to accomplish, and we can go from there!
How is this different from a retainer?
This is more than an hourly rate for a work model based on a set number of deliverables. This is a creative partnership where I become an out-of-house, in-house creative strategist and designer. I carve out time and availability to help make sure your visuals are sharp and effective across the quarter. We get a WhatsApp chat going with you (and your team) as needed, and you have access to me during business hours. Got a quick Q? You’ve got access to give me a quick call.
So it’s like an agency?
Before I answer this, I don’t hate all agencies because I haven’t worked with all agencies. However, in my experience, agencies by nature tend to bite off more than they can chew because they have heavy overheads (salary, office space, software for large teams, etc.) and seem to be a revolving door for clients. The Brand Lab is bespoke. Exclusive (in that I am not trying to scale to the moon), and designed to focus on only a few key clients at a time. You have my time and attention because I am not busy chasing the next gig.
Why wouldn’t I just reach out for a custom quote?
I am actually not going to be taking on bespoke design work once the Brand Lab rolls out. My focus will shift to Branding & Bespoke Web Design for new clients, and maintaining those brands for the Brand Lab clients.
For tidy accounting, The Brand Lab intakes align with the Australian Financial Year
Q1: JUL-SEP
Q2: OCT-DEC
Q3: Jan - Mar
Q3: APR - JUN
Doors for the Brand Lab open 4 weeks before the next quarter!
I will give current Brand Lab members first access (which is why you should jump on this now if it sounds like something you may need) and then open it up to other previous branding clients!
Stay as long as you need, but you don’t have to stay on beyond the current quarter.❋ Investment
One quarterly rate. No hourly tracking, no per-project quoting, no admin overhead. Just ongoing creative partnership. If anything sits outside the scope, we will chat about it. No suprises.
