BRAND IDENTITY

Timeline: 6-8 weeks
  • Your main logo! This is what will be displayed in your website header and on all of your main platforms!

  • A secondary logo is an alternate logo that may be in a slightly different layout than your Primary. This allows for it to be used in instances where the primary logo isn’t the best fit (literally or figuratively).

  • Your brand mark is a unique identifying mark that compliments your brand identity. This is what would be used for your website favicon! Some other potential uses include:

    • Instagram Profile Image/Highlight Cover

    • Branded Stickers

    • Watermark

    • Small brand mark in presentations

    • Business Card Accent

  • This is such a fun aspect of any brand identity project! Patterns are a great way to add character and depth to your brand identity. Depending on your brand identity, these patterns can be hand drawn, parts of your logo can be reworked into branded patterns, and so much more. These patterns can be used for:

    • packaging

    • lead magnets

    • website backgrounds

    • menus

    • social media backgrounds

    • and so much more!

  • I think colour should be a love language. Choosing a colour palette is very strategic and is curated to illicit a specific emotional response when people come into contact with your brand: happy, luxe, boho, laid back, premium, etc.

    Your colour palette will aid in communicating your brand values in visual form.

  • Fonts are what you are probably most familiar with! Arial, times, etc. But typography is the way the fonts are used and laid out. As a part of your brand identity, we will select fonts and put them together via stylised typography.

  • You know the saying…an image is worth a thousand PEANUTS. Kidding. I just wanted to break up the monotony for a moment.

    But it’s no secret that imagery is an integral key to visual communication. We will identity the kind of imagery that best reflects your brand and create a visual guide around that so you can create content that is visually consistent.

  • Last but NOT least is the beautiful brand guidelines. These guidelines take all of the above items and put them together in one place! You will reference back to these guidelines time and time again. You will also need these to brief any third party suppliers who will be creating content for you!

  • The purpose of your website is to guide customers through a journey - from your landing page to your conversion point, we want to make sure we have the customer journey mapped out so we can make your website beautiful AND effective!

  • After we have locked in your customer journey map, Katie will create a mock up of your homepage for approval. One the home page is approved, all the other pages will be built using that as the main guide.

  • We will explore what pages are needed in the Customer Journey Map. But most websites have:

    • Home

    • About

    • Services/Shop

    • Contact

    • Privacy Policy (must have for legal reasons) + T&Cs

  • Your website will look beautiful and function smoothly on ALL devices! Mobile, tablet, etc.

  • When your website is ready to launch, we will create a video walkthrough of your website platform so you know how to do basic edits, updates, manage billing, etc.

  • Once your website is live, we will be available via email support for 30 days to make sure things are running smoothly. During this time you can ask us questions and we will even offer up to half an hour of zoom/phone support during this 30 days.

  • Logos are great! But they certainly cannot carry the entire brand identity. Creating an entire brand identity ensures that your business is set on a solid visual foundation!

  • We recommend that your business is at LEAST one year old before investing heavily in branding. Many business discover who they really are in the first year and often tweak their strategy. Branding is worth every penny, but if it’s done before you have clarity on your business objectives, it can be premature and need revisiting.

  • Katie is the Creative Director and oversees every single project from beginning to end. She has a team that she outsources certain content creation to, but you will be interacting directly with her and her creative brain the entire journey through the project!

  • You bet! Our standard payment is two instalments: 50% on booking and 50% at the end of the project before final files are handed over.

    If you’d like, you can request a 4 instalment option: 25% (due at time of booking), 25%, 25%, 25%.

  • Canva is literally one of the best tools for running your business on a budget. You have access to their library of templates, the great templates we will create, thousands of images, icons, and more. You will need access to either Canva Pro or an alternative professional design software (Adobe Suite) to really use your brand identity elements.

  • Our Brand Identity & Website Packages include our services only, and do not include third party costs. Some of these may be:

    • Font Licence Purchase- for legal reasons, you will need to purchase your own font license(s)

    • Website Hosting & Domain Purchasing - we typically use the Squarespace Platform for service based businesses. If you are an E-Com business, we will use Shopfiy.

    • Canva Pro Subscription
